Nestled between Vilamoura and Quarteira this wonderful home offers the best of both.
There are two main beaches at Vilamoura, the beautiful Falesia that stretches for miles, always offering plenty of space and seclusion ,even in the height of the season, and the Marina Beach that is right in the centre of Vilamoura and is serviced by the 5 star Tivoli Marinotel. We are located nearly adjacent to the Tivoli. Then there is the Quarteira Promenade with it's many wonderful beaches. To us even better than the Vilamoura Beaches.

Falesia:
The main beach at Vilamoura (to the west of the marina), called the Falesia, is beautiful, very clean and has been awarded the blue flag. It is fantastic for families and watersport enthusiastics alike. The beach is very sandy (not fine shingle that you find in many European resorts) and stretches for around 10km! This means that even in the height of summer you can always find a nice quiet place on the beach.
The sea here is lovely and clear and the beach very genlty slopes into the water, which again makes it great for families.
On the beach you can find sunbeds and parasols for hire, together with various watersport activities, inculding jet-ski rental. There are also several shops, bars and restaurants on the beach to cater for your needs during the day.
Just behind the beach is a large nature reserve where building is not permitted. This preserves the beauty of the beach as there are no buildings along the front.
Marina Beach:
The Marina Beach is situated to the east side of the marina and is directly in front of the 5 star Tivoli Marinotel. Although much smaller, this beach has similar fine sand as the Falesia beach, but has the advantage of the 5 star facilities from the Marinotel, including a waiter bar service, and very luxurios daybeds for hire. However, due to being in the heart of the resort, the sea front here is more built-up and does not feel a wild and natural as the Falesia beach.
Quarteira Promenade and Beaches:
Originally a small fishing village Quarteira has grown into a holiday resort combining the pleasures of a beach holiday with great town life. A new pedestrianised promenade, with small shops, restaurants and bars faces an inviting stretch of soft, sandy beach (even nicer then Vilamoura) favored by families and young people. Intertwined with the hotels are numerous open air cafés and bars where you can refresh yourself by day or night, as well as a good choice of appetizing seafood restaurants. Shoppers will discover a non-stop, lively fish and produce market, and on Wednesdays, a fascinating gypsy market where Algarvian antiques, tiles and ceramics can be found in abundance.
